Pulao (Veg Pulav) is a spicy rice dish prepared by rice with various spices. In this recipe, assortment of spices and rice are first sauteed in oil and ghee and then cooked as you would cook plain rice. It is served along with yogurt raita.
Steps to Make Pulao ( Sindhi Pulao)
Step 1 : Firstly, wash the rice and soak it in water until needed.
Step 2 : Heat ghee or oil in a vessel on low flame.
Step 3 : Add cinnamon, clove and saute it for 30 seconds.
Step 4 : Then Add onions and again saute it for 2 minutes until it turns light pink or light brown.
Step 5 : Then add 2-3 chopped tomatoes and green peas and add some water.
Step 6 : After that add garam masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt according to your taste.
Step 7 : Then pour water and when it boil, add drained rice into it.
Step 8 : Then cover the vessel until the water is soaked.
Step 9 : At last mixed everything so well and fluff up the rice with spoon.

2 tablespoon oil or ghee
2 or 3 chopped onions
Salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder
4 cloves( laung )
Half tablespoon jeera
